US won't provide security guarantees to Ukraine, Trump says
The US won't provide security guarantees to Ukraine in exchange for a rare earth minerals deal with Ukraine, Trump told reporters at the White House today.
"I'm not going to make security guarantees beyond very much, we're going to have Europe do that," Trump said it his first cabinet meeting. "Europe is their next door neighbour."
"We'll be really partnering with Ukraine in terms of rare earth. We very much need rare earth. They have great rare earth."
