Amber Alert wind warning for Auckland Harbour Bridge
NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi was urging drivers to take extra care on the Auckland Harbour Bridge.
They've issued an amber alert from midday to 4pm, as wind gusts on the bridge were forecast to reach 90 to 95kph this afternoon.

The bridge would move to 4x4 configuration later this morning, which could remain in place during the evening peak if the amber alert was extended.
Motorists were urged to drive to the conditions, look out for the electronic message boards which will indicate any lane closures or speed limit reductions, and stay within their lane while travelling across the bridge.
Drivers of high sided vehicles and motorcyclists were advised to avoid the Auckland Harbour Bridge and use the western ring route on State Highways 16 and 18.
