Auckland rally begins with huge crowds
Broadcaster and musician Moana Maniapoto has kicked off the rally with a rousing speech. Richard Wagstaff, CTU president, told the crowd the Government has a "huge agenda" for tax cuts to tobacco companies, to landlords, and "to the wealthy".

The crowds look to number in the hundreds if not thousands, and workers have had strong words for the Minister for Workplace Relations and Safety Minister Brooke van Veldern, telling her the people she is getting her advice from are lying.
