US attack on Venezuela

Foreign Minister Winston Peters has posted a statement on X saying that the New Zealand government is "concerned" by the US strike on Venezuela and is "actively monitoring developments" in the South American country.

Peters said New Zealand "expects all parties to act in accordance with international law" and "stands with the Venezuelan people in their pursuit of a fair, democratic and prosperous future."
