Protesters get in PMs face in Matamata
Two men appeared to get in Christopher Luxon's face as he stopped in Matamata this morning.
Footage of the confrontation showed the men chatting to the PM while he said "no but it's in New Zealand's national interest, that's how we grow the economy".
One of the men could be heard saying "nah, nah" before Luxon patted him on the back and said "sorry lads, nice to meet you guys" and "agree to disagree".
The man who received the pat on the back then called out "don't touch me, don't touch" as Luxon walked off.
